Short-link expand
Resolve warm short codes to an in-app path before the first screen (await or optimistic).
https://taqlyn.com/shop/checkout?cartId=cart_9841&promo=WELCOME20&aff=partner_8When the app is already installed and the user opens a short URL (https://go.brand.com/Ab12Cd), the OS delivers a Universal / App Link. The SDK must turn that short code into an in-app destinationPath before paint.
That path is expand, not deferred Match. Expand does not consume a click ticket.
#Modes
| Mode | Behavior |
|---|---|
await (default) | Wait up to the timeout for POST /v1/links/expand, then navigate to the destination or fallbackPath |
optimistic | Show fallbackPath immediately; expand in the background and replace when ready |
Cascade (most specific wins): per-link → per-app → client SDK → await.
Timeout default: 1500ms. Dashboard per-app expand timeout overrides the client when returned on the expand response.
